PCC Executive Director

Dean Pliaconis

Here’s to a Great 2010!

First, I would like to thank everyone for a very successful 2009 season. We have so much to be thankful for as we learned and came together as a family. I was on many of your fields each week and I could see how much love you showed the children and your associations. You should be very proud; I know I am!

Some of our big accomplishments of last year include our Undergarment Drive for the L.A. Mission; our coaches’ clinics; having our game schedule ready in August; bringing our Cheer Competition back to the Pyramid; our successful football playoffs; sending a team to Florida for Nationals; and our Little Scholar Program. We are also proud of our Invitational Jr. Rose Bowl Tournament which featured teams from all conferences. The Pacific Coast Conference was also able to give to the Boys & Girls Club and The Haiti Relief Fund. We are most proud that we were able to cut our costs and share revenue back to each association. None of this would have been possible without all the help each one of you gave.

Now, as we enter into the 2010 season, we are moving forward to more innovation and community outreach. Our 418 Foundation will be in place and ready to help the families of the PCC. Some of the benefits of this foundation will be to deliver a tutoring program to those student athletes that struggle.

Other season highlights of 2010 include the introduction of a Tiny Mite division open to first year tackle players (see weight chart). The PCC is proud to welcome two new associations to our family and Dick’s Sporting Goods as a conference sponsor. Also, this year the 2010 playoffs will include the flag division and we will be developing our regional playoffs.

As this New Year begins with hope and optimism, I and the rest of the PCC family want to wish you peace, health and happiness. Oh and lots of Great Football!!

“Remember what is impossible with men, is possible with God.” Luke 18:27

Proud to serve the PCC,
